How to Install Your Pureflow Showerhead
Share
This easy step-by-step guide will walk you through the installation of your new Pureflow Filtered Showerhead. Follow these simple instructions to set it up correctly and start enjoying cleaner, chlorine-reduced water that feels noticeably gentler on your skin and hair.
Installation Steps
1. Turn Off the Water Supply Before starting, make sure the water supply to your shower is completely turned off. This prevents any unexpected water flow during installation.
2. Remove the Old Showerhead If you have an existing showerhead, carefully unscrew it by hand. Use an adjustable wrench only if it’s very tight. Be prepared for a small amount of residual water to spill out.
3. Clean the Shower Arm Once the old showerhead is removed, thoroughly clean the threaded end of the shower arm. Remove any old plumber’s tape, dirt, or debris to ensure a clean surface for the new connection.
4. Apply Plumber’s Tape Take the plumber’s tape included in your package and wrap it tightly around the threaded end of the shower arm (2–3 layers, clockwise). This creates a secure, leak-proof seal.
5. Attach the Connector Screw the connector onto the shower arm. Hand-tighten it until it feels snug. Do not over-tighten.
6. Connect the Hose Attach one end of the hose to the connector. Hand-tighten the connection securely.
7. Attach the Showerhead Connect the other end of the hose to your Pureflow showerhead. Hand-tighten until the connection is firm and secure. The advanced Vitamin C filter is already pre-installed and ready to use.
8. Turn the Water Supply Back On Slowly turn the water supply on. Check all connections (showerhead, hose, and connector) for any signs of leaking.
9. Adjust the Showerhead Position Adjust the showerhead to your preferred angle for the most comfortable shower experience.
10. Test the Showerhead Turn on the shower and verify that water flows smoothly. Check once more for leaks and make any final adjustments if needed.
Tips for a Smooth Installation
- Keep a towel or small bucket nearby to catch any residual water when removing the old showerhead.
- Always hand-tighten connections to avoid damaging components.
- If you notice a small leak, add one more layer of plumber’s tape instead of tightening further.
You’re now ready to enjoy your new Pureflow shower experience!
